BSNLEU has written to Ms.Annie Moreas, the Member (Finance ), Telecom Commission, that the payment of GPF advance to the BSNL employees should not be taken over by the DoT, but it should continued to be done by the BSNL. This is because, the availability of staff in DoT Cells is very small. As a result, even at present the final settlement of GPF payment to the retirees is being delayed by more than a month.  We have pointed out that if the DoT promptly refunds the GPF advance amount to BSNL, this problem will be solved.<<>>www.bsnleuchq.com
